Church of Sant Bartomeu de Vallbona
Just in front of Ca la Maria Xica we find the parish church of the town. Opened on July 6, 1952, it has an altar dedicated to the town's patron saint, Saint Bartholomew. The current church was built using the stones of the former church, which was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War in 1936. The clock of the bell tower is the one that was located in the old church.

Carol leisure area
About a hundred meters walk from the town center, and next to the torrent of “El Carol” and the old Royal Path of Aragon, we find a leisure area with trees and a fountain, very suitable for picnics and leisure.
Old Royal Path of Aragon
The old Royal Path of Aragon is ideal for a good walk, either on foot or by bicycle. It is an ancient path of roman and medieval origin that was the most direct path between Barcelona and Lleida, and then continued towards the interior of the Iberian Peninsula, towards Aragon and Castile. This stretch of the Royal path passes along the river Anoia, and it lead us to see interesting elements such as the leisure area of Carol, “El Capelló” or the fountain of “La Reina”.
Castle of Cabrera
Located on top of a hill, 3km and a half from Vallbona, and already in the municipality of Cabrera d'Anoia, we find the castle of Cabrera. In this place we find the remains of a castle documented in 1051, built to watch the old Royal Road of Aragon, in the area of the Capellades gorge. The building, declared a cultural asset of national interest, preserves the Romanesque remains of the wall, next to the Can Móra farmhouse and the chapel of Saint Salvador. From the top of the hill, you can see some good views of the Capellades gorge, the mountains of Montserrat, and Vallbona d'Anoia.Ç
The pine grove of Can Ferrer del Coll
5.5km on foot (1 h and 10 min), and 9km by car (20 min), we can find Pineda de Can Ferrer del Coll, which was declared Monumental Grove in 1995. It is an exceptional pine forest and it has the Higher pines that have never been measured in Catalonia. As a curiosity, we can observe a large oak tree of 3.70 m. Near there is a strain of another large oak, which exceeded 4 meters of perimeter. There are several pines that exceed a canon vault near 3 meters and a height that goes up 35 meters.
In the town of Cabrera d'Anoia, a few kilometers from Vallbona, we find a set of waterfalls that are not well-known but are amazing for its beauty. They are located in the torrent of La Bleda, whose waters have been carving out this set of falls: “Els Capellans”, “Els Cups”, and “La Mala dona” (of about 15 meters and that it gives directly to a natural pool) and the fall of “El Cargol” that is a creeper of 35 meters of unevenness excavated in conglomerate. It is the most spectacular of these falls, and begins with a slide of 8 meters, followed by a natural pool and two hills, another gorge and a last fall of about 10 meters that goes to a small natural amphitheater totally invaded by the vegetation, where another torrent comes together.
